These two and Bassmead!
Just the sweetest two people going, which make them über sweet together.
They found me through Instagram and were drawn to my natural, fun style, which I couldn’t wait to unleash on their wedding.
I was over the moon when they told me they were getting married at Bassmead. It’s a firm favourite for so many reasons… beautiful setting, awesome food, super friendly staff.
The morning started in the bridal suite. The perfect area for getting ready with your girls. Liza Smith did everyones make up beautifully and Paula Wilkinson was on the hair… even dad got a bit of pampering! I was totally in love with Gemma’s two piece gown from Courtyard Bridal Boutique… an elegant gown with lace skirt. And her bouquet by English Petal and Herb was so pretty.
Matt also got ready at Bassmead with his two groomsmen. They had some fun in the bathroom with each others ties, it was great fun to watch! The Ted Baker suits from Moss Bros looked the business, especially loving the patterned ties and pocket squares combo.
Time to say I Do
The Rickety Barn at Bassmead was packed with smiling faces, all awaiting the bridal party. And what an entrance. We had some cute mini’s making the first walk, followed by the gorgeous maids and then Gemma and dad.
Matt could not have looked more proud. The ceremony was so lovely and before you knew it, they had sealed the deal with rings and a smooch.
Next up was my fav part of the day… confetti! And boy, they got it right. The most colourful pieces of biodegradable paper fell over them as they walked past their guests. Confetti is awesome because no one is thinking about the camera, just huge smiles and cheers and arms all over the place.
The grounds at Bassmead are amazing for group and couple shots. Matt and Gemma were ace in front of the camera. They giggled and snuggled and smooched… all sorts of perfect.
Bassmead delivered once again on a scrumptious meal and the bridal party delivered on epic speeches, high fives all round.
Time to get your grove on
With all the formalities taken care of, it was time to let their hair down and dance the night away. First dance was very sweet, topped by the fact they got a personal message from the singer themselves!
Bassmead delivered a stunning day for the couple and I think it would be fair to say they had the most perfect time.
