Eles and Aaron - Shortmead House, Biggleswade

Getting to know you...

After meeting Eles and Aaron for their wedding consultation, it was clear that I was going to love capturing them and sharing their special day with them.

They booked in a couple shoot before the wedding, giving them the perfect practise run as they had some nerves about being photographed! Phffft! Nerves schmurves! They smashed it and that got me (and them) even more excited for the big day.

The morning of the wedding was fab. Bridal preps were in Shortmead Cottage, all the girls together getting beautified. Eles looked stunning in her wedding gown from George James Bridal, altered by the uber talented Simply Alterations. Make up by friend Naomi Coombes and Izzy and hair by Nyssa Addison. The sun beat down hard and drenched Shortmead House and promised a wedding day to remember.

Aaron rocked up in his highly polished truck, adorned with wedding ribbon, it was fab. Even better than that though was his epic velvet jacket from Slaters Menswear! Dude!

Under the thatch

Eles and Aaron had an outdoor ceremony, my favourite type of wedding. They said their I do’s under a beautiful thatch, in front of a pool, we could have easily been abroad!

Aaron was moved to tears when he saw his bride (well actually, he was moved to tears throughout the day). It was so sweet! They had some lovely readings from friends and family and then danced there way back up the aisle as husband and wife.

Mum did a reading during the drinks reception which then led us into the most awesome confetti cloud spectacle (totally my favourite part of the day!). Their faces were SO good!

Into the evening

We moved into the garden marquee for a tea party wedding breakfast, some fab speeches and a surprise song, written and performed by Aaron for Eles. He was dead nervous but he did her proud.

The dance moves were equally as awesome, especially from Aaron I have to say when he busted them out to Michael Jackson. It was such a great atmosphere with the dancers inside and the chatters spilling out over the lawn.

I had such a blast with these two and am proud to say have become really close to the fab couple.
