Let’s Chat

And the big day arrived...

It’s crazy how fast all the months fly past between a wedding consultation and the big day. In Amy and Dan’s case, it was about 21 months. Time didn’t stick around and before we knew it, Monday 6th August had arrived and the excitement was through the roof!

I love that this couple shared their first kiss together. Not something you hear every day and what a claim to have! Marrying the first ever person you shared a kiss with… too cute!

So this day was promising one thing… it was going to be crammed with love… oh and a bump! Baby Bryan was travelling on board for their wedding too. Magical.

Getting ready...

Amy had a lovely morning with Sophie, her sister and bridesmaid, getting ready for her big walk down the aisle to meet Dan.

Sophie did Amy’s make up beautifully and her look was finished with her jaw dropping dress from Confetti and Lace, designed by Mon Cheri.

Equally, Dan paid the same amount of thought and attention to his suit by choosing the fabrics and having it hand made at Ceremonia.

Setting the scene...

It’s easy to see why Amy and Dan chose South Farm in Royston as their wedding venue. It’s utterly stunning and one of my favs to work at. It provides and intimate, relaxed and picturesque setting for the couple and their guests.

The venue was complimented by florals from Wildwood Floral Events. The sunflowers ‘popped’ around the venue beautifully and of course, in Amy’s bouquet too. The huge milk churns were my fav, they lined the aisle and made for an eye catching bit of decor!

The atmosphere throughout the whole day was super relaxed and fun. Guests played in the grounds in the sunshine, smiles were to be seen everywhere, the confetti, as usual, looked amazing and Amy and Dan were having the best day!

We were also entertained by the awesome Lee Smith. A man of many talents but mainly wanted for his magic!! Lee stunned his audience and worked his way through countless ‘wows’ and ‘did you see that’s’!

We even got to spend a few minutes with the resident piglets (and their dirty noses!!) and the polythene tunnels to give an extra quirky twist on their wedding day pictures.

Husband and wife...

The I do’s were said, the candids were snapped, minimal formal shots were done and dusted, now it was time to party! I had a wonderful time capturing Amy and Dan, enjoy the sneak peeks!
