To be invited into someone’s home and asked to capture their newborn baby, along with the rest of the family is just the best!

These newborn lifestyle sessions concentrate more on life at home as a family and all the things that happen naturally rather than relying on a baby to be asleep in order to be able to pose them in a static location.

It’s not to say that my posed newborn shoots aren’t awesome, because they are! But I just love how the newborn lifestyle session feels so personal and meaningful, not just for baby but for the whole family.

The newborn lifestyle shoot captures baby asleep and awake. Being fed, changed, cuddled. Laying on playmats or in a cot or being held. They are so versatile and they show so much of your family life.
